Today i really feel that i have found a really good bet for all of you. I do understand that most of you would never bet on golf but i think you should try it out just this time.
The bet is that Retief Goosen will have a lower score than Johan Edberg on the first round of play in the South African Open.
I think this is a good bet because of many reasons and i will lay them out to you here.
- Home Field Advantage – Retief Goosen is from South Africa which means that he will have the support of his home crowd the whole round while Johan Edfors from Sweden probably does not have many fans here.
- Better Ranking – Goosen is ranked number 45 in the world while Edfors is found a bit further down and is ranked number 162 in the world. As you can see there is a lot of difference in the ranking between these two players.
- Have Won Before - Back in 2006 Retief Goosen won the whole South African Open so it is obvious that he likes playing here and he takes it seriously. For Johan Edfors this is the first appearance in this tournament.
When you add all of these things up you will probably find it as hard as i do to believe that Johan Edfors will stand a chance in this bet. And the good news is that i have found a really good odds on this bet as well.
